Information Assurance Specialist

CyberBalance, LLC developed a web-based application (CSAM) that enables government agencies to oversee their entire organization's certification and accreditation (C&A) efforts while also enabling each system to maintain all relevant C&A information within the application and to generate a complete C&A package. This web-based application is currently deployed at 15 federal agencies and new agencies are currently in process to join. Additionally, CyberBalance is working with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to develop CyberScope, a web-based application that will help automate the FISMA process, from agency FISMA submissions to OMB report generation. This application is utilized by OMB and every federal agency that has to submit a FISMA report and will help OMB to simplify and further monitor FISMA statistics and submission.

For these reasons, CyberBalance is looking to hire multiple individuals for the following:

Serve as the Client Manager for a specific federal agency (or agencies)

Provide C&A Subject Matter Expertise to these federal agencies

Serve as a CSAM and/or CyberScope subject matter expert to these federal agencies

Potentially lead CSAM and/or CyberScope training sessions at these federal agencies

Serve as the initial CSAM and/or CyberScope help desk point of contact for these federal agencies (e-mail and phone)

Aid in security program, policy, and procedure development at these federal agencies

Participate in software requirements analysis on behalf of these federal agencies

Participate in CSAM and/or CyberScope software testing as part of the software development life cycle

The position requires that the prospective employee have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and the capability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
